Hello my lovelies!
After my blog post about the Midori Traveler’s Notebook on Thursday, I have been asked by one of my lovely followers how the notebooks are actually connected inside the Midori.
I admit that it confused me at first as well. It took me a while to figure it out, but once you get it, it will seem so logical. However, it is easier to just show you, rather than explain it in a long and complicated blog post, and I figured this how to guide would be of interest to a few of you. So I made a little video that shows how to add inserts to your MTN.
The video below shows you how to add three or more notebooks to your Midori. If your notebooks are really thin, you might even squeeze six or eight in there, by simply repeating the same steps. When adding an odd number of inserts, add the last one like book 3 in the video. Midori brand elastics are rather thick, so the thinner the elastic you use, the less bulky your stack of inserts will be!
I also just realised that this is the first time you lot (except the two followers who know me in real life) will hear me speak. While I do absolutely everything from reading to writing and thinking in English, I currently live in Germany and I haven’t really had a chance to speak English for more than two sentences in quite a while, so to my own ears, I sound cringe-worthy. “Voice for print media” as some of my fellow journalism students would say, just like some people have a “face for radio.” It’s also the middle of the night here, so if my voice sounds a bit rough, that’s why.
But I hope the video is easy enough to follow.
