By now you probably know that I got my B.A. in Carlisle, Cumbria. I was there from 2007 – 2010, and lived on Petteril Street. That street is named after one of the three rivers in the city: the Petteril, the Caldew, and the (main river) Eden.
Is it Saturday again already? Welcome to the Weekend Coffe Share!
How have you been this past week? What’s been going on in your life? Tell me, while we share a cup of coffee. The weather has turned cold, wet and nasty, so if you’re not driving and you’d like a dash of something stronger in your drink, just say the word.
How are you? It’s so good to see you and be among people again! You’ll have noticed that this is the first time I am a day late in joining the Weekend Coffee Share. That’s because I had a major deadline yesterday at midnight, and I made it with about 30 mins to spare. For the last two weeks I’ve locked myself away in my flat and worked on my assignments.
I’ve probably had way too much coffee (in fact I know I have) over the last week especially, but I’ve become really good at brewing a nice strong cuppa, so you’re welcome to some! It’s crisp but nice out, all blue skies, autumn colours, no clouds, but cold. If you don’t mind, I’ll get the cushions out one last time and we can sit outside on the armchairs on my patio with warm blankets wrapped around us and steaming cups of coffee (or tea or hot chocolate, whatever you prefer) in our hands.
