Hello my lovelies!
How are you today? Welcome to this week’s Weekend Coffee Share! It’s nice to see you again!
I know this blog has been so quiet lately. Well, that’s about to change. I’ve signed up for the A-Z Challenge, not only with Study.Read.Write. but also with my new bookish blog Literati Girl. The Theme Reveal is on Monday, March 21.
I have been so stressed this last week. I had a final deadline on the second to last uni course before my thesis on Thursday, and had to pull several night shifts to finish on time. Seriously, it’s been really boring here this week. Work, study, 3 hours of sleep, repeat. I actually slept for 12 hours today to catch up on all that lost sleep. But I handed in on time, and even though I still need the grades for the last two assignments, my prof emailed me that she’s confident they’ll be 100% and that would make me the very first student in the 7 years she’s been at the university, who got straight A+ for the entire course. Now I REALLY hope I didn’t screw up on the final, because the assignment brief was pretty wishy-washy and I’m not even certain that I did it right.
And of course it’s been a week of really good ideas, loads of reading to catch up on, blog posts to catch up on, website to properly set up and orders to complete from my Etsy store LifeInNotes. I want to write properly again, it’s been way too long. And my lovely relaxing weekend will be used to complete a massive order. I’ll actually have to put the shop on holiday next week for a while to restock and work on some of my templates, including new ones.
Remember how I said last week that I’d love to spend two weeks somewhere beautiful and wild once I’m done with my degree, without much technology? Well, I think I’ve narrowed it down a bit. How does roadtrip across Iceland sound? Around October time it should not be too cold yet, and there’s a chance of seeing the Northern Lights. I’d rent a car, spend every night in a different village, hike, soak in hot pools, take pictures and every night I’ll kick back with a book. Sounds like heaven. It’s been too long since I’ve been on a proper roadtrip and I need to get out of here for a while.
Anyways, that’s it from me for this week. I’m sure the other Weekend Coffee Sharers would like to see you too.
Thanks for having coffee with me. Same time, next week?

Well done on completing. Hope it comes back making you the first in 7 years with straight A+. What an achievement that would be and you should be proud of yourself.
Iceland sounds like the perfect roadtrip. I went in 1990 and absolutely loved it. My husband has agreed (after seeing Walter Mitty) that he is prepared to travel to iceland so I am hoping to plan a trip next year. Will look forward to hearing how yours goes. Spectacular scenery and quite different (from anything I’d seen in Australia).

Congrats on finishing up the classes, and doing so well to boot! Also, congrats on having such a successful little store so quickly! 🙂
I’m doing A to Z as well, but just on the one blog. Can’t imagine trying to keep up with two of them!!

I found your blog through the Weekend Coffee Share link! A road trip around Iceland does sound delightful! Staying in a different village every night is a great idea. I think I just might put that on my bucket list. Have a great rest of your weekend 🙂

That road trip sounds awesome! I hope you get to do it.
A busy etsy shop is great, even if it does make you busy. Busy is good, if you can stay on top of it. I know I love my book review books and the book inventory!

It’s great, but with that massive deadline plus being down one colleague at work, it’s been too busy. I’m all caught up now though, the last two inserts are printing right now.
I’m so glad to hear you like the inserts! I’ve almost filled my first one up, finished 16 books so far but still have 4 on the go (1 audiobook, 1 ebook ARC & 2 paperbacks).
