Hello, my lovelies!

I’m so glad to see you for today’s Weekend Coffee Share! So come on in out of the snow. It’s comfy and warm in my flat, so make yourself at home on the sofa. Would you like some freshly brewed coffee or tea?

How was your week? What have you been up to?

I have been remembering legends this week. I still cannot believe that two of my favourite people – David Bowie & Alan Rickman – have passed away, at the same age, of the same disease and in the same week!

It’s been a weird sort of week for me. After not being able to sleep all last week (well, since before Christmas, to be fair) I have been constantly tired this week. Then it got cold and started snowing – the first snow of 2016. I am done with winter. Hate the season. I can’t wait for light and warmth.

If we were having coffee today, I’d tell you that I am getting more and more into planning with my stamps. I still get funny looks, but it really relaxes me. It’s creative, it’s colourful, and it’s actually useful as it helps me plan my time better. I’ve had more happy mail arrive this week, in the form of stamps, ombre ink pads, paper clips (with flags, in the shape of coffee mugs), and Oliclips! Yes, I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole, but I love it! Now I just need to find decent coloured pens that don’t bleed through, to colour in various shapes.

If we were having coffee today, I’d tell you that I’ve got a new writing gig. As of this week, I’m a contributor at Sherlock’s Home. Combining my love for writing and my love for the Baker Street Boys – a match made in heaven. I’m already working on my first story for them!
