Happy 1st Birthday Study.Read.Write!

It’s Study. Read. Write’s first blog anniversary today and I never would have thought that I’d be saying this to more than 1,154 followers!

Over the last year, this blog has seen a lot. Some of the things this blog covered were the start (and current progress) of my M.A. in Cross-Cultural Communication, but also NaNoWriMo, Camp NaNoWriMo and a total of four Rounds of Words in 80 Days so far.

I met so many lovely people thanks to this blog (Yes, I mean you!), some of whom I met in person this year in London! And you my dear readers seem to like this blog, because in its first year Study.Read.Write has been nominated for four Blog Awards: Liebster Blog, One Lovely Blog, Creative Blogger and Blogger Recognition. And I want to thank everyone who has nominated me. This means a lot!

Over the past year, I was introduced to challenges like the A-Z Challenge which I used for a virtual tour around the world, but I also came up with my own 60 Books Challenge. I was introduced Midori Traveler’s Notebooks, and to the idea of blog hops and have met many of you for coffee as part of the Weekend Coffee Shares hosted by Diana over at Part Time Monster, but I also participate in Top Ten Tuesday by The Broke & The BookishFriday 56 by Freda’s Voice and the Blog Blitz by DL Hammons. I also found the 1000 Voices Speak For Compassion campaign, and contributed a story to it.

Try as I might to make this blog about reading and writing and theatre reviews like Richard III, Hamlet, and Three Days In The Country, there is one blog post you flocked to: How to organise your College Binder. Be honest, it was the shiny printables that drew you in, right?

Well, let me tell you that I have plenty in stock for the next year here in my little corner of the internet. University is keeping me busy, but I will continue the blog hops and reviews but I hope to add a regular writing feature as well as more books reviews and a college-themed feature to Study.Read.Write. very soon! You may just have to check back here now and then to see what’s new.

But for now, enjoy the complimentary coffee and birthday cake! I’m so glad you could make it and I’m very happy to see you here! Thank you for making this first year awesome!
