Hello my lovelies!
It’s great to see you for the Weekend Coffee Share!
First of all I want to thank everyone who came by last week and celebrated my birthday with me! My British-themed party was a success!
If we were having coffee today you’d notice right away I’m late to the party and we’d meet in town, grabbing a coffee to go. I’d apologise profusely, but I simply do not have time this weekend. I’m trying to catch up on uni stuff and it’s not going as well as I’d hoped and I need all the time I can get.
However, while we’re waiting for the barista to get the order right, I’d tell you that I went shopping yesterday for new shoes (part of a birthday present) and books. I’d got vouchers for the bookstore, and so I bought four English-language books:
It’s not hoarding if it’s books, right?
You may have seen my post about my Midori Traveler’s Notebook the other day. I’m really pleased with how it turned out and my DIY notebooks are proving popular. I’ve had my first orders from friends. I’ve had a few issues with QuarkXpress this week, which took me longer to sort than I’d have liked and cut into my study time. As did various lunches I was invited to which ran late repeatedly.
Today I spent my tea break while studying customizing my Midori Travel Journal a bit more…
I don’t want to put a damper on your mood, but you’ll find me grieving today. A year ago, I lost my friend Adam.
The barista just called my name, my coffee is ready. I’m so sorry I don’t have more time today. I’ll try and make up for it with a post from England next week! I hope the other Weekend Coffee Sharers have more to say.
Same time, next week?

Sometimes life is like that. We grab the moments we can and run with them. Thanks for the chat while we waited for coffee!

Oh, I hope you enjoy To Kill a Mockingbird! That’s one of my favorite books. I haven’t read the others, but I hope you enjoy those, too. 😉
