Is it already time for the third Round of Words in 80 Days of 2015? Where did the previous two rounds go??
A new round also means a new set of goals to achieve. I actually did really well in the last round, and I already know I’ll be busy with grad school. I won’t get to do much writing, but I hope to get quite a bit of other stuff done.
For those just joining this blog and those unfamiliar with ROW80, the rules are very simple. You need to have a blog. There are weekly check-ins via the Linky on the ROW80 Website you’ll need to link an update to on Wednesdays and Sundays. You get to set your own rules – they just have to be measurable. Instead of saying “I want to read more books” you should say “I want to read [x amount] books” or “Write 2 chapters per weeks” etc.
There are no prizes, but there is a great community that checks in on the progress you’ve made, and encourages you to keep going.
My list is long, and doesn’t even include all my travelling (Manchester/Warrington, London, Cardiff, Brighton, Lewes, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Bonn/Königswinter, Luxembourg and Amsterdam), or that I’m planning interviews and attend a vegan cooking class with a Canadian friend. However, I know that I will be able to achieve a lot on this list, mainly because so many of the courses run concurrently and / or do take only a few hours to complete. Plus, I have already started a few of them.y

Each supplement course is between 3 and 12 weeks, with most lasting about 6 weeks. You need about an hour or two for each per week. If I can get through my grad school modules of the two courses I’m currently doing by the end of July, then yes, I can do this 🙂
