Die Leidenschaft für Klavier und klassische Musik hat bei dem ungarischen Pianisten Elöd Ambrusz schon sehr früh angefangen. Beim Besuch eines Solinger Kinderarztes hörte er klassische Musik, die er sofort mittappte. Damals war er fünf Jahre alt. Seitdem verbringt er seine Tage auf dem Klavierhocker. Der mittlerweile 16-jährige hat in seiner Heimat Ungarn bereits viele Musik und Talent-Wettbewerbe gewonnen, und so unter anderem ohne vorspielen zu müssen seinen Platz am König St. Stephan Musikgymnasium in Budapest bekomme

Nächte Woche gibt er sein erstes Solo-Konzert in Solingen.

Hello, my lovelies!

It’s great to see you for the Weekend Coffee Share! How are you today? Come in, come in, and make your way through to the patio. It’s 36°C out with clear blue skies. I put the parasol up and brought out the comfy pillows, and at least there’s a breeze outside. Inside it may be cooler but it’s stickier. I’ve got 2 fans running on high full-time now.

I’d offer tea and coffee (seeing as it is better to drink warm/hot as your metabolism doesn’t have to work as hard) but I’d also offer chilled water or orange-lemongrass sparkling lemonade. The latter is a recent discovery of mine and it’s not sweet, but it’s fruity, making it a perfect summer thirst-quencher.

If we were having coffee today, I’d wish all my American readers a fantastic Independence Day. I think it’s touching that you guys thank Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith every year for saving you (hehehehe).
