If we were having coffee today, we’d probably meet at a local café. Mainly because I’ve been cooped up for too long this week and need to get some fresh air on the walk to see you.
It’s currently -9°C outside (that’s around 15°F), so my walk would probably be short and crisp, and my drink large, caffeinated and warm.
If we were having coffee today, the first thing you’d notice about me would be my hair and that it’s (finally) bright red again. Sitting down, we’d order our hot beverages – mine would be a very large Chai Presso – and then we’d chat about our week. I really hope yours was all right, mine was ok but busy.
It’s been less than 24 hours since I bought a book. In fact, I bought five books. I just saw them lying there, in the bargain bin at my local supermarket and I couldn’t help myself. I had to give them a good home.
They’d been marked as “Mängelexemplar”, damaged goods because something had scratched their back a little. It’s just a few grooves we’re talking about, not the entire back cover missing.
