ROW80 on Deadline Day

Hello my dear ROWers!

It’s another short update for me, as I have an assignment due tonight and I still have to write about 600 words for it. Which wouldn’t be a problem if it were free-flowing narrative rather than academic writing.

The issue with the missing URLs in my M.A. courses has been resolved and the whole material will get updated and restructured over the next two weeks! And thanks to this, I also got a two-week extension on my Cross-Cultural Communication course.

I’ve been able to keep up with the short stories this week though one turned into a short chapter for a WIP I’m working on.

I didn’t get as much done today as I had hoped – I had to stay longer at work (7 1/2 hours instead of 3 – 4), then I had a very late lunch, got down to studying and now I’ve got about 30 minutes until dinner is ready in which I’m trying to give my fingers a bit of a rest.

It is freezing cold outside, currently -5°C (23°F) and there’s still a draught coming in from somewhere.

I’ve still got loads to do tonight, though I do hope I get my assignment written quickly. For now, I’ll turn on the news until dinner is over.

  1. Whew! It sounds super busy over there! Way to go on the short stories, and it seems like having one turn into a chapter isn’t so bad, either.

Sending you warm thoughts! Hang in there. Even winter passes eventually.

  2. Feels like you’ve got a good blend of work, relaxation, study, and writing. Hooray for the story – I just wrote one tonight that will become more, in the future. =)
