It feels like the fourth Round of Words of 2014 only ended at Christmas (oh, wait…) but here we are, a new year, new goals and the very first Round of Words in 80 Days of the year 2015!
We’re starting today, January 5, 2015 which means that this round will be over on March 26.
If you’ve never heard of ROW80 before, here’s how it works:
It’s very simple really. You can set your goals yourself. Whether you want to write a story or poem per day, edit chapters of previous works, write at least 80.000 words – whatever you choose, the only important thing is that it’s measurable.
Don’t just say “I want to write a book.” Be specific.
Twice a week, ROW80 participants update their blogs to let everyone else know how they are getting on. You can share your work or simply tick off your list what you managed to get done that week. That’s entirely up to you. We update on Wednesdays and Sundays and share those blog posts to a Linky Tool on the Official ROW80 Website. The Linky Tool creates a link list/blog hop, and you are encouraged to visit the blogs of other participants and like, comment and cheer them on. Add yourself to the Linky Tool.
Post your goals at the start, so you have a list of them and the others know what you try to achieve. There are no winners and losers, you just do the best you can.
So how about it? Ready for a Round of Words in 80 Days?
